December 9, 2020, Doris A. Hubbs (nee Bischofsberger) 86 years of Audubon, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joseph W. Hubbs Sr.; children, Elizabeth (the late Mark Wyatt) of West Deptford, NJ, Joseph Jr. (Heather) of Audubon, NJ, Ronald (Dona) of Glassboro, NJ, and Kenneth of Audubon, NJ.; brother, Robert Bischofsberger (Mary) of Oldtown, Md.; grandchildren, Sarah and Emily Wyatt, Crystal, Joey and William Hubbs, Nikie, Dona, Cristal and John White, Katelyn and Ronnie Hubbs, Anjelica, Stephanie and Dylan DeNick; and 4 Great Grandchildren. Doris is also survived by many Brother and Sister-in-laws, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Doris is pre-decreased by her mother and father, Alberta and Joseph Bischofsberger; Brother, Joseph; Sister, Joan A. Daniels; and granddaughter, Kimberly M. Wyatt.
Doris was a 1952 Audubon High School graduate. During her teen years she played the snare drum with the “Audubon Bon-Bons All Girl Drum & Bugle Corps”. Doris lived most of her life in Audubon, NJ. She was employed at Curtis Publishing in Philadelphia, PA until 1955. Later in life, she worked at Kmart, Beef International in Pennsauken, NJ, and Charles Ritter Corp in Philadelphia, PA until her retirement in 1996.
Doris was a member of the Arwames Rebekah Lodge #84 where she served as Noble Grand and President, past president of the State Assembly of the Rebekah Lodge #84, Past Noble Grands Association of Camden District, The Amenartas Zuanna #99, The Camden District Deputy Staff, The “High Flyer” Drill Team, and also permanent member of the Middle Atlantic States Conclave Committees.
